    My thought is that the straight launch at the start might be to tempting for some to with hold from burning out and the finish would be to dangerous as proposed, prompting people to try to hard to finish a little quicker and causing a lot of spin outs.

    I am having the same issue, car passes the emissions test with flying colors, but they won’t pass the headers now, even though they did in the past.
