    Anyone know if there are regulations against flying a drone at marina airport during autoX (to film)?

    No Drones!

    Marina is an active airport. And we are already on very thin rope with the FAA for permission to use the site.

    Flying any remote controlled aircraft within 5 miles of any airport is illegal unless you get explicit prior permission from the airport. Flying them *at* an airport will definitely get you noticed very quickly, and frankly we don’t want to be noticed by the ATC.

    Innovative thinking! But probably easier to pay one the skydivers to record video of us on their descent. Just have to convince one to jump right before your fastest run starts. If you hit a cone, ask them to jump again.
