    Here are the dates we have reserved at Marina for 2016. We are discussing options for a September or October event at Crows Landing also. Date TBD.

    January 16 – Autocross Course Rewind (Marina)

    February 20 – Autocross School (Marina)
    February 21 – Autocross Fun Run (Marina)

    March 12 – Autocross Test & Tune (Marina)

    April 23 – Autocross #1 (Marina)

    May 14 – Autocross #2 (Marina)

    June 11– Autocross #3 (Marina)

    July 23 – Autocross #4 (Marina)

    August 13 – Autocross #5 (Marina)

    September 17 – Autocross #6 (Marina)

    October 2 – Fun Run (Crows Landing)
    October 15 – Autocross #7 (Marina)

    November 5 – Autocross Top Driver Shootout (Marina)

    December 17 – Autocross Fun Run (Marina)

    Any updates on the autocross calendar? I’d like to get my son started on it, and the autox school in February looks like a good time to do it (barring any massive snow storms hitting the CA mountains 🙂

    This just in… the FAA has verbally approved non-aviation activities at Marina Municipal for 2016. No use permits will be issued until the written approval is received by the airport manager.

    Our first event for 2016 will be the 2/20 Autocross school.

    Would you mind posting a short note here when MotorsportsReg.com is updated to let people register for the event? I’d hate to miss it!

    Hi Justin –
    Dates are not finalized because we’re waiting on the FAA to approve the use permit, as usual. Last I heard it was looking good, but they were to respond by 12/31/16. I have yet to get confirmation on that.

    I’ll create a sticky with the dates we have requested so everyone has an idea of what the schedule will be when approved.
