Autocross #6
Our autocrosses are a competitive environment where a cone track is setup in an airfield. We put cars into classes based on a formula (considering weight, torque, modifications, and several other factors), and drivers compete against other cars within their class. Cars race against the clock, not side-by-side. We do not require previous high performance driver training or experience, but participation in a Car Control Clinic or similar training is highly recommended. Take note - Registration by invitiation only! The Top Driver Shootout (TDS) is an end of season competition for the coveted Fechner Cup, but also a thank you to our dedicated members who participated in three or more events during our 2017 Autocross Series. Join us for a fun run autocross at Marina Airport. This type of event runs similarly to a regular event without the formal competition. We do not require previous high performance driver training or experience, but participation in a Car Control Clinic or Autocross School is highly recommended.
