Jack Yu’s first run is actually my first run. I am guessing that the 57 second time you have for my first run is actually David’s. And David’s first 51 second run belongs to Jack.
I’m tempted to throw my r-comps back on the car so that my launch control can have a proper celebration at the start.
Believe it or not, I have that photo printed, framed, and hanging on the wall of my office. Their expressions are priceless. That event was down at the Great America site, as I recall.
I had Vincent at Omega Werks (https://www.yelp.com/biz/omega-werks-pleasanton) install a clear bra on my car a year ago last April. He uses Suntek film. You can check it out at next month’s event.
Fwiw, I usually bring my kick scooter to Crows Landing events. It’s a BIG site. I am also leaning towards bringing a small tent that I have since the NOAA is calling for heavy rain on Sunday and inside the car or inside a tent are probably going to be the only ways to get out of it.
Too bad Hal downsized his trailer – it’s liable to get crowded in there…
Thanks for posting that Jeff. I will try to make the February and April dates. I will be at Big Willow for the March date, and in May I will be at Laguna Seca. Will you keep the same 3 event prerequisite for the TDS event if it happens in June?
