I’d like to offer a big thank-you to everyone who kindly offered assistance last Saturday after our car broke—the gang who pushed it through Dana’s scenic route to the porta-potties; Nigel for letting me drive Zebedee; Paul for offering to share his M3 so that I could still get A-class points; and everyone who offered a ride home.

There are many opportunities to autocross in the greater Bay Area, but one of the main things that keeps Dana and me coming back to GGC events is the strong sense of community that was evidenced last weekend.

Hey Andy. 50.1 in car you had never driven before was very respectable! That time stacks up pretty well in AA. Hope to see the M3 back soon.

Thanks, Nigel. That 50.1 would’ve been good enough for fifth place, I believe. There might be hope for me yet. It didn’t hurt that Zebedee is set up very nicely and is easy to drive a result. I really should’ve been able to break 50 in that car, though. So much still to work on…
