Would anyone consider letting me share your car next season? I’d pay you per event whatever you feel is reasonable for tires/maintenance/etc.

This year I drove our 228i convertible, but the lack of front camber has been tough on tire wear, and I don’t want to add camber plates since it’s my wife’s daily driver.

Message me if you’re willing to talk!

IMHO, nothing wrong with camber plates on a daily driver. Don’t go excessive on the alignment and it won’t compromise anything on the street.

Camber plates in the 2 series are known for excessive noise, which I was trying to avoid on my wife’s daily driver. Fortunately my wife is cool and said it’s fine, so I guess I’m getting camber plates and moving up a class next year!

Have them install insulators between the plates and body
