Car Classifier Question

I was just using the car classifier. There’s an option for “Want to run your car in a higher or non-competitive class? Select it here”. I selected Class B from the drop down, but the car still ended up in C. Is it not working correctly?

The MINI currently has 38 points, but some mods I have planned for later will put it up to 40 points, so I’d like to put it in class B so I run in the same class all year.

If you commit to always have a co-driver/passenger, shouldn’t that be worth -1 or -2 points?

I am pretty sure that the classifier is just showing your points will make you a C class car. If you choose to run in a higher class it pops up when the run groups get assigned.
