To patm3sv, I was in car 56 and would love to see photos of my car. I am fairly sure that all the drivers of the cars in your list would like to see theirs too. I’d just upload what you have to flickr or a similar gallery and share the link with us.

To Christian, my autoX galleries are under this root gallery: http://www.coates3.com/gallery2/v/cars/drives/bmwcca/autox/. They are organized by season then event, and usually by run group. If the broken link was from smugmug (or maybe photos.coates3.com) then it is probably from the 2009 season. That photo you liked is in there someplace… 🙂

Hello folks!

Yesterday was my first event with GGCCA. Was out there in my Miata 🙂

Had a blast out there and learned a TON! I knew my car was going to be understeery due to my lame alignment, but BOY was I in for a surprise when I rode in Craig (Northcutt’s) car. Not only is he a killer driver, but his car’s handling ability BLEW ME AWAY. His line was INSANELY tight compared to mine. There was now way that was possible in my car. Time to make completely redo my suspension setup!

Here’s my second fastest run 52.4 from what I recall–my fastest was a 52.181, but my camera’s battery ran outta juice:
