I had the same problem on my 7th run, there was a cone in the middle of the road, upright. It was not supposed to be there at all. I avoided it, but in hindsight, I should have stopped and pointed out this “extra” cone since it did alter my line and was completely distracting.

I think if a cone is out of place and causing a new line, then you should have the right to stop and point it out to get a re-run.
